Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the standards of behavior expected from all WiroTask users. Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive community for everyone.
2. Prohibited Activities
Illegal Activities
You may NOT use WiroTask for any illegal purpose or tasks that involve:
- Theft, fraud, or any criminal activity
- Drug-related activities (buying, selling, transporting illegal substances)
- Weapons trafficking or illegal firearms handling
- Money laundering or financial crimes
- Human trafficking or exploitation
- Counterfeit goods or pirated content
- Violation of intellectual property rights
- Tax evasion or fraud
Harmful or Dangerous Tasks
- Tasks that pose safety risks without proper precautions
- Handling hazardous materials without proper certification
- Electrical or plumbing work by unlicensed individuals
- Medical services by non-professionals
- Any activity that could cause physical harm
Harassment and Discrimination
- Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age
- Sexual harassment or unwanted advances
- Threats, intimidation, or violent behavior
- Hate speech or derogatory language
- Stalking or invasion of privacy
- Bullying or abusive behavior
Fraud and Deception
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating others
- Posting fraudulent or misleading task descriptions
- False claims about credentials or experience
- Price manipulation or bid rigging
- Review fraud (fake reviews, review swapping)
- Payment fraud or chargeback abuse
- Phishing or identity theft attempts
Platform Abuse
- Spam or unsolicited marketing messages
- Automated bots or scripts to manipulate the platform
- Circumventing payment systems (off-platform payments to avoid fees)
- Multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or bypass restrictions
- Scraping user data or content
- Attempting to hack or compromise platform security
- Reverse engineering or copying platform features
Inappropriate Content
- Adult or sexual content/services
- Violent or graphic imagery
- Content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Extremist or terrorist content
- Gambling services (unless legally licensed)
3. Task Guidelines
Clients Must:
- Provide accurate, complete task descriptions
- Offer fair compensation for the work required
- Communicate respectfully and professionally
- Provide safe working conditions
- Pay agreed amounts on time
- Respect Tasker boundaries and personal time
- Not request work outside the platform to avoid fees
Taskers Must:
- Complete tasks as described and agreed
- Be honest about skills, experience, and availability
- Arrive on time or communicate delays promptly
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Respect client property and privacy
- Request appropriate safety equipment when needed
- Not solicit off-platform work to avoid fees
4. Communication Standards
All communication on WiroTask must be:
- Respectful: Treat others with courtesy and professionalism
- Relevant: Keep messages on-topic and task-related
- Honest: Provide truthful information
- Safe: Do not share personal financial information or passwords
- Appropriate: No sexual content, harassment, or offensive language
5. Data and Privacy
- Do not collect or misuse other users' personal information
- Respect confidentiality agreements
- Do not take photos/videos of clients or their property without permission
- Do not share client information with third parties
- Report data breaches or security concerns immediately
6. Payment and Financial Conduct
All payments must go through WiroTask:
- Do NOT accept or request cash payments
- Do NOT share bank details or payment apps for direct payment
- Do NOT offer discounts for off-platform payment
Circumventing our payment system violates this policy and will result in account termination.
- Provide accurate invoices and receipts
- Report income appropriately to tax authorities
- Do not engage in price fixing with other Taskers
- Do not manipulate bids or offers
7. Age Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to use WiroTask
- Must not hire minors for tasks without parental consent and proper supervision
- Certain tasks (alcohol, tobacco, adult content) have stricter age restrictions
8. Licensing and Credentials
For regulated professions, you must:
- Hold valid licenses for work that requires them (electrician, plumber, contractor, etc.)
- Provide proof of insurance when required
- Not misrepresent your qualifications
- Update credentials when they expire or change

9. Environmental Responsibility
- Dispose of waste properly and legally
- Follow environmental regulations
- Do not engage in illegal dumping or pollution
- Use eco-friendly practices when possible
10. Intellectual Property
- Respect copyrights, trademarks, and patents
- Do not upload content you don't have rights to use
- Clarify ownership of created work in task agreements
- Report intellectual property violations
11. Consequences of Violations
Depending on severity, violations may result in:
Minor Violations:
- Warning and required training
- Temporary account restrictions
Moderate Violations:
- Temporary account suspension (7-30 days)
- Loss of certain privileges
- Mandatory re-verification
Severe Violations:
- Permanent account termination
- Forfeiture of pending payments
- Ban from creating new accounts
- Reporting to authorities (if illegal activity)
- Legal action for damages
12. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience policy violations:
Report immediately:
- Use the in-app "Report" button on any task, message, or profile

- For safety emergencies: Contact local authorities first, then notify us
- For legal issues: legal@wiroko.com
All reports are confidential and investigated promptly. We do not tolerate retaliation against reporters.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of WiroTask after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
